Manufactures his own petrol Tesla Cybertruck and adds Lamborghini-inspired detailsMar 252020
The creator of the replica put up a sports utility vehicle.
While many fans of electric vehicle manufacturer Tesla await the arrival of the Cybertruck van on the market - whose serial production is scheduled for the end of 2021 - some of them go further and build their own replicas of the model.
That was the case of a neighbor from the Chinese city of Shanghai, who reconditioned a gasoline sports utility vehicle. The project took two months of work, as revealed in a video posted on YouTube.
Its version of Tesla's futuristic pickup bears great similarity to the original, but it also features modifications inspired by the design style of the Italian brand Lamborghini.
New features include an inverted trapezoid shape on the front of the body - frequently used by Lamborghini - extra pleats that distinguish it from the straight lines of the true Cybertruck, as well as some details in the design of the headlights and a reflector.
Finally, the creator of the replica built the fenders in carbon fiber and incorporated an automatic door to access the trunk, which is activated through a remote control.
