A youtuber checks which blood attracts sharks the mostAug 112020

It is a commonplace in horror movies to see sharks that go crazy just by smelling human blood. Is it so, is it true that the smell of that blood attracts sharks more than that of other animals?
A famous American youtuber, Mark Rober, wanted to know if it is true or not. To do this, he traveled to the Bahamas, accompanied by marine biologist Luke Tipple, and conducted a test to find out which blood they prefer.
Rober put in the sea three surfboards on which he fixed containers with different liquids: one contained fish blood, another cow (which he used to replace human blood) and the third was filled with sea water.
For an hour, the liquids gradually spilled into the water, while Rober and Tipple monitored the behavior of the sharks with the help of drones.
The result came quickly: several sharks approached the 'human' blood, dozens to that of the fish, and none were attracted by the board with water. The experiment was successful, but it seemed little to Rober and he jumped into the sea, inside a cage, to offer the sharks more fish blood.
