This week an unusual image of Google Maps was released on social networks, made at the moment in which the driver of the car that was recording the streets stopped to apparently ask a resident of the Spanish town of Carbajales de la Encomienda for directions ( Zamora province).

Javier G. Martín, professor of Economics, saw the curious moment, which took place in 2014, and posted the photo on his Twitter account this Friday. In the image you can see how a woman from the town, which has 27 inhabitants, indicates the way with his arm.

Martín suggested that the driver got lost and was forced to stop the car because "the coverage is bad" in the town. He told Gizmodo that he once visited the place and experienced connection problems, adding that it is "something common in that area of the Zamora province: Sanabria-Carballeda."

Meanwhile, Google has already removed the image from its service. However, the woman, identified in the networks as María Jesús, still appears in the snapshots moments before and after.
