A bright unidentified blue object lighting up the sky over a Hawaiian islandJan 032021
The US Federal Aviation Administration stated that there were no plane accidents in the area at that time.
Many residents of the Hawaiian island of Oahu (USA) informed authorities about a bright unidentified object that lit up the sky on Tuesday night and then allegedly fell into the ocean, local media report.
The images, captured by multiple witnesses and posted on social media, show a luminous blue object flying. "I don't know what it was. It was going very fast," said the resident of the town of Nanakuli, Moria, and explained that the ball disappeared into the water after traveling about 5 kilometers.
The woman explained that she called the police and while the officers went to the scene, she and her husband saw a second shiny object. "My husband looked up and saw the white light coming," she said, adding, "It was smaller. It was coming in the same direction as the blue one."
For his part, the spokesman for the US Federal Aviation Administration, Ian Gregor, announced on Thursday that the agency received a police report on the night of December 29 on a possible plane crashed in the area. "But there were no planes missing from radar and there are no reports of late or missing planes," he added.
