The CEO of SpaceX and Tesla, Elon Musk, tweeted this Thursday an image of Mars, taken by NASA's Perseverance rover, in which the footprints left by the device on the surface of the red planet are observed. "A rear-facing Mars rover," wrote the businessman.
However, the commenters focused their attention on a small black dot visible above the mountains, on the right side of the image. Some explained it with a "failure in the matrix", while others suggested that it was "a Martian fly".

"It seems they forgot to touch up the UFO," wrote one user. "A UFO sighted! Possibly a flying Tesla," joked another.
This week, Elon Musk caused a stir on social media by posting a meme on Twitter regarding what he called "the most powerful argument against the existence of aliens."
