A shark stalks a crocodile on an Australian beachApr 182021
After the eerie chase, the reptile managed to flee to the nearby rocks and emerged unscathed from the water.
Drone footage shows a shark stalking an unsuspecting crocodile swimming in the Wessel Islands in the Northern Territory, off the coast of Australia, reports Daily Mail.
In the images, captured this Saturday by surfer Suncan Brotchie, the shark, possibly a tiger shark, is seen swimming just behind the large crocodile that is heading towards the nearest shore.
Unfortunately for the predator of the seas, the crocodile was faster and managed to get out of the water safely.

"I took some pictures of the crocodile by itself and I thought that was it, and then the shark appeared and I just hit the record button and tried to follow them without being too scared," Brotchie noted.
The video was posted on the surfer's Instagram account.
