The man had to be rescued by police officers, who then arrested him.
A man entered a Madrid metro office (Spain) last weekend with the intention of robbing it, but was trapped for two days in a ventilation duct, local media report.
At dawn this Monday, security guards realized that the metal door of the place, in the Plaza Elíptica station, had been forced, so they called the Police.
When officers arrived at the scene, they inspected it and found several false ceiling tiles on the floor. After checking the ventilation duct, they saw a 23-year-old Ecuadorian who was stuck and rescued him.
The man, who was arrested as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of robbery with force, was injured, for which he had to be treated by the local health services.
The Police have opened an investigation to determine if the criminal acted alone or accompanied during the robbery attempt.
