Three young people were trapped with water up to their necks in an elevator in the middle of the flood that this Saturday affected the city of Omaha (Nebraska, USA). However, despite the hurry of the situation, one of the three came up with filming the scene, which was developed as in a suspense movie.
Tony Luu got into the elevator with two friends to see from the top of the building the damage caused by the hail storm that hit the city, causing occasional subsidence, reports ABC 13. However, when reaching the lobby, the water was it slipped through the vents before the elevator doors opened.
"Once it got to my stomach, we realized this is real," said Luu, who had to hold on to the handle of the elevator to keep from submerging completely.
In the recording you can see how, just before the water breaks through the bottom of the elevator, the young man vapes calmly. Later, with the water around her neck, a friend of Luu's appears talking to the rescue services, whom she asks to hurry.
In the middle of the trance, the author of the video makes a phone call to his roommate, who worked in the building maintenance service. "We could die if you don't come to help us," he tells her.
Finally, the three of them managed to open the doors before the arrival of the rescue teams. None of those affected were injured in the incident.
